Raised on a farm near London, Ontario, Tracey is an independent dancer, choreographer, teacher, and arts administrator based in Toronto. Her choreography has been commissioned and presented by many organizations and series including, Dance Ontario, DanceWorks, Canadian Children’s Dance Theatre, York Dance Ensemble, Series 8:08 Season Finale, Kinetic Studio (Halifax), Festival de Danse en l’Atlantique (Cap-Pele, NB), Toronto International Dance Festival/fFIDA, HowDareShe Productions, and Larchaud Dance Project. She has had the pleasure of performing in works by many independent choreographers including, Larchaud Dance Project, Leah Archambault, Suzanne Miller, Jesse Dell, Kerry Rathje, Ali Gratian and Roopa Cheema/Sarah Lochhead. Tracey is a board member of the Canadian Alliance of Dance Artists and a member of the Canadian Dance Assembly and Dance Ontario. She is Program Assistant at Series 8:08 and teaches dance and gymnastics to children and young adults. Tracey recently presented Anthology Vol. 1, a DanceWorks CoWorks series event featuring her choreography. She holds a BFA in dance and is currently working towards her MFA in Choreography at York University with the support of an Ontario Graduate Scholarship
